Why Join Hanover County Rotary?
Thank you for your interest in our Rotary Club. Rotary was founded on fellowship, an ideal that remains a major attraction of membership today. Club members enjoy the camaraderie with like-minded business and professionals acquaintances during weekly meetings and through club service projects. Rotary club members who travel have friendly contacts in almost every city in the world. Hanover County Rotary Club has 34 members representing a cross-section of the community’s owners, executives, managers, political leaders, and professionals. Rotary clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
Our club members have many opportunities for humanitarian service - locally, nationally and internationally. Service programs address such concerns as health care, hunger, poverty, illiteracy, and the environment.
Social activities give our club Rotarians a chance to let loose and have fun. In addition to our weekly meetings, our club has several social events during the year.
Being a Rotary leader provides experience in learning how to motivate, inspire, and guide others.
Club members are required to pay annual dues to their clubs, districts, and Rotary International, as well as the subscription fee to the appropriate Rotary magazine.
